The heels of my Sunday shoes are clunking down the hall. She's wearing a black and white nylon shirt with an elastic waist that cinches just above her knee. The way it hangs reminds me of a flapper. My silk rose sash drapes her neckline as she stretches an arm in the doorway, crossing a heeled foot over her leg.
